Welcome to Mistymelody, home of our lovely Burmese cats. My name is Margaret and my husband Ken. We live in a small village on the edge of the New Forest and 5 minutes from the coast. We have three Burmese girls "Mistymelody Miss Saigon" Missy (chocolate) and her lovely mum "Chamtippy Rosie" (brown) and "Chamtippy Mistymelody Lily" (Lilac), also our Boxer dog "Daisy".

I first encountered the Burmese cat about 25 years ago, when a new neighbour arrived and put up some pens at the bottom of her garden. Curiosity made me look to see the inmates. Were they birds, rabbits or some other creature? Then CATS appeared! Something I would never have imagined, also these were not a type I recognised. This led to a chat over the fence then a viewing, I was "HOOKED", and my first girl Ninigo Bambi a Blue Tortie came to take over our lives, she was quickly followed by Ninigo Holly Hobbie our lovely Lilac girl. We then bought Bambino Dark Secret (Truffles/brown). Visits to shows and many rosettes started me on the breeding trail which lasted many years. For my 65th birthday the precious gift of Chamtippy Rosie (Brown) who we adopted from Shirley Medhurst and the cycle began again.
